ABOUT THIS POSITION

Genuine Foods is seeking a Registered Dietician to join our Higher Education team. The Campus Dietician will work closely with our operations and culinary team to support the wellness and nutrition programs on College/University/Higher Education campuses.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide nutrition education & training support for the higher education community through tabling, lunch & learn lesson sessions, one-on-one counseling sessions, and more.
• Implement corporate wellness programming across all campuses.
• Work with the onsite Operations Management team and culinary team members to ensure dietary needs are being met for all customers.
• Provide training to all necessary Genuine team members on nutrition guidelines, including food allergen training.
• Work alongside the Operations and Culinary teams to assist on menu development and nutrient analysis.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure appropriate nutrition information is being communicated and messaged.
• Communicate cross departmentally to assist on projects and help meet deadlines
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Prior experience working with special diets and food allergens, preferably in a education setting
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract food managed service experience desired
• Ability to present information in a one-on-one and group setting to a variety of audiences
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, professional journals, and government regulations
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends
• Computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc to properly communicate and track nutrient analysis programs
• Go-getter, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
