The Wynn Las Vegas Poker room has 26 tables which presents a friendly, welcoming environment. Wynn Poker maintains lists electronically and features an IPhone Application that enables players to know what is going on in the poker room 24/7, as well as their place on any list in the room.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Primarily responsible for scheduling the Poker staff within a budget.
  • In charge of the Poker department’s payroll processing to ensure it is accurate and complies with tip compliance.
  • Tracks all Leave of Absence’s in our employee database for Poker staff.
  • Responsible for tournament and promotion tracking and analysis as requested by the Director of Poker Operations.
  • Accountable for staff management including hiring, orientation, performance reviews and conflict resolution.
  • Assists the Director in preparing the business plan and staffing budget, developing and instituting marketing plans.
  • Responsible for implementing new policies and procedures and properly conveying such information.
  • Additional responsibilities include administrative duties with regard to the poker cage and its staffing and tip compliance.
Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Gaming/Poker/Cage/Administration.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Requires a willingness to work beyond the boundaries of an average workday.
  • Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision
  • Must possess a positive, “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts, and ways of approaching analysis.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office systems is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
