Job DescriptionJob Description

Position Summary

Responsible for assembling kits and final weapons (rifles and pistols).

Essential Functions:

  • Use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, and rulers to perform duties
  • Assemble complex components.
  • Able to troubleshoot problems when necessary.
  • Perform material handling tasks.
  • Verify conformance of parts to stock list and prints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Maintain and lubricate parts and components.
  • Rework and replace damaged parts of assemblies.
  • Perform work assignments to the highest level of quality.
  • Observe all safety requirements and company policies.
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Perform other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Position Specifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to read drawings is preferred.
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools.
  • Need to be detail oriented and able to follow instructions.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Zero to three years of experience in assembly/manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical and Mental Demands (travel, lifting restrictions, etc.):

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, perform repetitive tasks, and possess manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
