Home Health Aide (HHA) - Connections That Matter, Inc.


Location: Remote; Client's Home

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Employment Type: Contractor

Shifts Available: Flexible Scheduling (Day, Evening, Night, Weekends)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team. This role is vital in assisting our clients with their daily activities and ensuring they receive the highest quality of care possible. The ideal candidate will be someone with a deep passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others, possessing a strong commitment to providing compassionate care.


Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
- Help clients with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming.
- Provide companionship to clients, including engaging in conversations, reading, and participating in recreational activities.
- Prepare meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist with medication reminders as per care plan.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in client's health, behavior, or environment to the supervising nurse or manager.


Qualifications:

- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in home health care or similar field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license may be required for certain assignments.
