Wage: $18-$24/hr (depending on experience)

Position Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients in a fast-paced environment. This role includes assisting physicians with medical procedures, performing routine clinical tasks, and ensuring that our patients feel comfortable and well-informed about their treatment plans.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist physicians during medical examinations and procedures, including preparation and documentation.
  • Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking patient vital signs, administering injections, performing simple lab tests, and maintaining medical records.
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring efficient and timely service to all patients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked examination room.
  • Comply with all established policies and protocols, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Provide compassionate care and assistance to patients, answering any questions they may have about their treatment.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive patient experience.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an ENT, Plastic Surgery or similar specialty.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient care.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
