Responsibilities

  • Install and/or repair various types of plumbing pipes and equipment
  • Install and/or repair fixtures (sinks, toilets, urinals, fountains)
  • Install and/or repair plumbing systems used for drainage, sewage, and potable water
  • Locate, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace plumbing equipment and fixtures as necessary
  • Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
  • Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
  • Communicate well with clients to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Communicate well with team members and fellow employees
  • Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
  • Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients

Job requirements

  • Possession of a valid TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) journeyman or master plumbing license
  • Backflow certification is required
  • 6-10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Optional: Med gas certification for specific projects or preferences
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules
  • Commitment to professional development and staying updated on industry advancements and best practices
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
