Metal Associate

As a Metal Associate, this position is responsible for fabricating and assembly of high

quality signage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manufacture signage, parts, castings and other metal products.
• Cut, form and assemble steel and aluminum products per designated order.
• Operate a variety of saws, punch press machines, Shears, Brake Press and other equipment in the manufacturing process.
• Perform tasks that use various basic hand tools, pneumatic equipment, gauges, and power actuated tools.
• Read, comprehend, and complete work orders in an efficient and accurate manner.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year previous experience working in a manufacturing and/or production facility setting.
• Technical and/or Vocational School degree/certification a plus.
• Detail oriented.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Prepared to receive Cross Skill Training that apply across different functions in multiple roles or skills within the other production departments.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have ability to stand, lift and move products and signs throughout the day.
• Knowledge and experience working with a tape measure required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good vision; correctable to 20/20.
• Perform work in a safe manner at all times.
