MidAmerica National Bank, a locally owned financial institution in central Illinois, has an opening for a Teller III in McDonough County. Established in 1933, MidAmerica National Bank provides financial services to local communities through our branches located in Fulton, Marshall and McDonough Counties. Position Summary:

The successful candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and customer service skills, be able to promote and explain bank services and products, process financial transactions accurately, ensure compliance with all processes pertaining to bank policies and procedures and to all banking regulations, and recognize customer needs to develop and maintain customer relationships.

Job Functions:

• Perform Teller transactions throughout the day, paying specific attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency.
• Manage multiple tasks and responding to pressure and change with poise and confidence.
• Answer complex inquiries and solve problems for customers regarding accounts while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
• Assist with training of new employees to the teller department.
• Assist with reviewing tellers' electronic journals and correction of teller drawer discrepancies.
• Process billing for night depository customers.
• Assist with generating various data reports for management.
• Opening and maintaining customer accounts.

Digital Skills

• Demonstrate technical literacy through the efficient and effective use of the applications and technologies required for the role. This includes Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
• Excellent communication skills, ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, dependable and trustworthy
• Previous banking experience preferred.
