Description:
The essential function of the position within the organization is to conducts general maintenance of City parks and grounds.Examples of Duties:
This list represents the essential tasks performed by the position. Employees may be assigned additional duties by
management as required.
Cuts grass with power equipment, commercial riding mowers and weed eaters.
Operates a variety of hand tools and power equipment.
Loads and unloads dirt, gravel, and other debris.
Cleans, maintains and services equipment and tools.
Conducts field preparation and maintenance by removing debris, pruning, mowing, and weed removal.
Picks up trash in the parks areas and disposes of it properly.
SAFETY OF OTHERS:
Safety of others refers to the responsibility for other people's safety, either inherent in the job or to assure the safety of the general public.
Requires some responsibility for safety and health of others and/or for occasional enforcement of the standards of public safety or health.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education requirements refers to job specific training and education required for entry into the position. Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Licenses, certifications, and registrations refers to professional, state, or federal licenses, certifications, or registrations required to enter the position.
Driver's License REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience refers to the amount of work experience that is required for entry into the position that would result in reasonable expectation that the person can perform the tasks required by the position.
