HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Accurately collect, compile, and enter payroll data into the Workday Payroll system.
  • Process bi-weekly and weekly payrolls for U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies by analyzing data and implementing solutions.
  • Manage garnishments and ensure timely uploads to the vendor.
  • Reconcile quarterly tax filings and assist in state registrations for tax and unemployment.
  • Support year-end processing, including W-2 and W-2c forms.
  • Monitor and track quarterly tax amendments, ensuring timely receipt of funds.
  • Assist with special projects to enhance payroll processes and efficiency.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Protect payroll operations by maintaining confidentiality and recommending process improvements.


ARE YOU A WORKDAY PAYROLL SPECIALIST?

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing, with Workday experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll practices, procedures, and taxation, including local taxes.
  • Proven ability to evaluate, analyze, and resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Strong understanding of multi-state and federal payroll, tax, and employment laws.
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll is a plus but not required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on excellent internal customer service.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
