Job Description:

The Project Manager (PM) is a key role in the PNW region and requires technical project management skills to see projects through from creation to successful completion. This individual will act as the key resource for recommendations related to new projects which includes the creation and presentation of project proposals and statements of work. In addition, the PM will work closely with the Project Engineer to coordinate all project work to ensure on-time completion. This individual will be highly skilled at integrating cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes.

As a Project Manager in Executech’s PNW region, you will play a key role on the team and be responsible for the success of all projects. Collaboration will be key to your success in this role because you will be working closely with several lines of business and will need to use your impact and influence skills to achieve your objectives. A strong technical skillset will be essential in creating and scoping projects to deliver accurate proposals to clients. You should operate as a technical PM and drive excellence to help deliver an exceptional client experience. You will be an integral member of the PNW team and be expected to live Executech’s values.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Project Management

· Field all new project requests.

· Lead, coordinate, and manage all projects to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals and deliverables that align with objectives.

· Develop detailed work plans, resource plans and project estimates.

· Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

· Manage project work plan to ensure on-time completion.

· Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs and develop a plan to communicate changes to stakeholders.

· Determine and coordinate required resources needed to meet project objectives.

· Set expectations in accordance with the project plan to ensure alignment among stakeholders.

· Implement standardized project management practices and metrics to ensure consistent delivery across the PNW region.

· Manage stakeholder communication and drive engagement.

· Facilitate decision making for both clients and internal teams.

· Prepare and maintain project budgets and work with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing.

· Prepare and deliver project updates regularly to all stakeholders.

· Respond to inquiries from clients and internal partners.

· Measure and track project performance to identify areas for improvement.

· Develop and maintain a dashboard to show progress to internal team members.

· Drive efficiency with a goal to complete projects on time and within budget.

· Perform quality assurance assessments on completed projects and communicate results to internal team.

· Establish a strong working relationship with Project Engineer and ensure all project work is scheduled.

· Work closely with Account Executive and assist with pre-sales coordination.

· Work with procurement to prepare quotes for all required resources.

· Develop relationships with Project Managers from other regions and learn/share best practices.

Growth Objectives

· Identify new opportunities for growth with existing clients.

· Coordinate with region/department leaders to support execution of PNW’s growth efforts.

· Collaborate with Sales and Client Success teams on sales engineering opportunities and tasks.

· Consult with clients with an attitude of continuous improvement to ensure their IT environment continually delivers on uptime targets, increases productivity, and meets their business objectives.

Technical Expertise

· Strong technical background with knowledge of SharePoint, Azure (Entra)AD, Office 365, and network infrastructure.

· Understand network components such as servers, storage systems, routers and switches.

· Familiar with migrations from on-premises file servers to Cloud.

· Possess technical knowledge and understanding of the services offered by Executech such as network infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, etc.

· Provide technical guidance as it relates to creation and management of projects.

· Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices related to managed services.

Service Delivery

· Responsible for the execution of all projects with a goal of high-quality service to ensure client expectations are always exceeded.

· As the face of the Projects Team in the PNW region, provide communication to all stakeholders as necessary.

· Grow and maintain relationships with client POCs throughout the project lifecycle.

· Focus on the big picture without leaving everyday details behind.

· Perform onsite client visits when necessary.

· Always be proactive and anticipate client needs.

· Partner and communicate with Project Engineer daily.

· Understand and contribute to client IT roadmaps.

· Contribute to the creation of client technology documentation resulting from project implementation.

· Understand the importance and process of new client on-boardings to ensure a seamless network transition.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

· Organize project reporting and analyze data to identify trends to promote efficient delivery of projects.

· Track project performance, perform quality controls, and create plans to address issues.

· Prepare and manage project reporting, performance against key metrics, and communicate to the leadership team.

· Monitor project hours utilization, obtain approval from client when necessary, and prepare change orders.

· Create post-project client feedback surveys and implement actions plans to address issues with a continuous improvement mindset.

Skills and Qualifications

· 3+ years of project management experience, preferably with an MSP.

· Knowledge of MS Office products.

· ConnectWise experience preferred (not required).

· Trained or experienced in conflict management and resolution.

· Strong client focus with the ability to understand the needs of clients and develop strategies to exceed their expectations.

· Experience in information technology and networking.

· College degree or equivalent job experience.

Physical Demands

· Occasionally reach overhead, kneel, climb, and stand.

· Occasionally lift and carry between 5 - 20lbs., push/pull between 20 - 50 lbs., squat, crawl, walk-slippery surfaces, walk-uneven surfaces, and bend.

Hours of Work:

This position will work various hours to meet the needs of clients and business operations.
