Established in 2010 at its Boca Raton brewpub, Funky Buddha is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional brewing methods with culinary-inspired recipes utilizing all-natural, food-centric ingredients. Some of its best-known beers include flagships Hop Gun IPA and Floridian Hefeweizen. This fast-growing company is the first production brewery in the greater Fort Lauderdale area and the largest brewery in South Florida and is positioned for rapid expansion over the next few years.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Custodian with Funky Buddha Brewery, the candidate will work in all areas of our operation, helping to maintain its cleanliness and upkeep. Successful candidates will be a vital part of our brewery and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Clean building by emptying trash and cleaning surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect all areas
  • Use appropriate quantity of cleaning solution to remove stains and clean surfaces
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors
  • Dust and clean furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Wax and buff floors
  • Clean floors using floor scrubber
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Completes all established duties in a timely manner
  • Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines and follows all safety policies
  • Able to work-days, nights and/or weekends
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
