The Delivery Driver will ensure that the customer’s product is safely delivered on time and in excellent condition while providing superior customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will deliver windows, doors, and other items as part of a 2-man team.
  • Ensure that orders are loaded safely and in a manner that will prevent damage in transit.
  • Drive truck over established route to deliver Pella products to job sites and service storage warehouses.
  • Perform daily inspection of assigned company vehicles and documents in accordance with DOT requirements
  • Ensuring our Pella customer’s satisfaction
  • Typical Hours: Around 8-14 hours each day

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to drive a speed flip switch Manual Transmission
  • A clean driving record is REQUIRED.
  • Must be dependable, neat in appearance, a good listener, and personable with good communication skills for direct customer contact.
  • Must be able to lift/move heavy loads (100+ lbs.) for customer deliveries throughout the day.
  • Must be able to comply with the DOT hours of service regulations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of experience as a Delivery Driver in a similar position preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

  • A CDL “A or B” license, with air brake endorsements, is required.
  • Current Health Card as required by DOT.
