Job Summary:

The Financial Marketing Representative I works directly with the sales teams in conjunction with external lenders by providing finance solutions for new and used machine purchases, leases, and Rental Purchase Option opportunities for Machine, Crane, Power, and Product Support. Additionally, this individual is responsible for processing all credit applications for the Cat Commercial Credit Account for new lines of credit in addition to line increases. The position requires a self-motivated, well-organized individual who can work effectively with a variety of people. Must be able to assimilate a broad range of information simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment, schedule priority work effectively, be results-oriented, and work successfully with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree &/or 2-4 years of practical financial training or experience required
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred or obtained within 18 months of hire
  • PC literacy in MS Excel, MS Word, and the Internet
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong finance acumen preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Coordination of finance opportunities to enhance the level of new sales and rental unit conversions
  • Providing payoffs for conversion contracts, providing quotes on finance options, and handling communication between customers, sales, and lenders
  • Limited Customer interactions
  • Review of all sales contracts for accuracy and coordination of financial lending opportunities
  • Submission of financial packages and closing of finance packages
  • Track and coordinate deal package from submittal to completion, including funding from lender
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • No more than 10%
