Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWhat does a Skilled Tradesperson with Paul Davis do?

This position will be responsible for daily field production of small to medium sized projects that involve light demolition, drywall, texture, paint, trim, light electrical and plumbing, and other residential reconstruction tasks as required to restore the property to pre-loss condition.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:


  • Working both independently and as a member of a team to manage and perform repairs to property damage as a result of insurance related loss
  • Ability to use a smart phone or tablet to upload pictures, documents, and receipts required by the company as part of the daily routine
  • Communicate onsite with homeowners and tenants to solve simple daily issues and checking in to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Report to company reconstruction project managers on a daily basis to review the days work and future schedule

Qualifications:


  • Working knowledge of residential construction practices and repairs such as drywall, paint, flooring and trim
  • Basic plumbing knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to learn and adapt to different repair scenarios every home being different
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and solve problems when things arent going as planned
  • Responsible, self-starter who enjoys working independently and collectively toward achieving personal and company goals
  • Ability to work with technology to document repairs with notes, photos, and required job documents
  • A positive and can-do attitude; you will be the face of the company on site
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:


The physical environment requires you to work in all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having the ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 lbs.
