Life Enrichment Associate

**Pay Rate starting at $15/hour**

Full Time - Days

10am-6pm and Every Other Weekend

Responsibilities of a Life Enrichment Associate:

• Assessment of residents.
• Education provided to staff, residents and family members as needed.
• Charting as needed and/or required.
• Admission of residents into the facility and completion of required paperwork and obtaining medication if applicable.
• Scheduling of staff and responsible for shift coverage.
• Disciplinary action and monitoring of all staff in building.
• Assistance with resident care including but not limited to;
  • Bathing
  • Assisting to the restroom
  • ADL care
  • Answering call lights
• Communicating urgent situations to primary care physician or on-call physician.
• Communicating via e-mail to other staff nurses, nursing supervisor and the administrator at the end of each shift a summary of events or pertinent information.
• Coordinating appointments of residents and communicating appropriately.
• General housekeeping if needed.
• Assisting the nursing aides with household duties such as setting the dining room tables, laundry, waste disposal, etc.
• Notifying the administrator on-call of any emergency events regarding campus safety, or facility issues.
• No management communication with resident assistants, cooks, etc. when about another staff member. Communication to remain with other managers.
• Maintain all life enrichment activities to schedule outlined in writing by the 20th of the month prior.
• Activities to be encouraged and assist the residents to them.
• Assist staff on the floor as needed.
• CDL licensure maintaining and transportation of residents to appointments and outings.
