Our Slumberland store in Bismarck, ND is hiring a Full-Time Sales Associate to help our customers find their dream furniture solutions. No experience is necessary, we will train the right candidate to be successful This retail sales position reports directly to the Bismarck Slumberland Store Manager, who is ready to add the next addition for our team. Our Bismarck Slumberland Location:

Our current retail sales team at the Bismarck Slumberland can be described as team centered as they aim to work together to reach their goals. Located in the second largest city in ND, our Bismarck store is located in a market that continues to have potential for growth We are immediately hiring for our next sales associate

The Role of the Sales Specialist:

Being a Sales Specialist in the furniture retail industry can vary day-to-day as each customer brings different needs, desires, and their own unique style. This allows you to showcase your top sales skills as you work to meet these various needs You may assist with the display of the show room floor through set-up, visual appeal, and tagging merchandise. Ensuring store neatness and cleanliness is directly in line with providing superior customer service and helps showcase the products we have for sale You should maintain awareness of product information, and ongoing merchandise promotions and advertisements. If you are looking for a rewarding position where you can see direct results from the work you are putting in, the Sale Specialist role is for you

Qualifications for a Successful Sales Specialist:

High school diploma/GED required. Mathematical skills to calculate discounts, interest, and percentages. Pre-Employment Background check required. Previous sales experience preferred, but not required. If you are the right fit for the team, we will provide the training and structure you need to be successful, even if you are entry-level Let us get to know what your professional goals are.

We work to be as flexible as possible with scheduling, but being in a retail environment, there are weekends and peak sales holidays we ask our employees be ready to work To give you an idea of what the hours for this position could be, our store hours for our Bismarck Slumberland location are listed below:

  • Mon. - Sat: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Sun: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

We offer commission-based compensation and a draw. Employees ready and eager to sell can reap the benefits of these non-capped commissions offered, with an estimated wage range up to $65,000 annually
