We are currently seeking qualified applicants to join our family team of almost 40 years. This position is for permanent and full-time employment to work within the state of Massachusetts.

The type of our work is commercial/industrial/plans and specs/design build.

Job Description:

• Manage bid from invitation to award.
• Obtain subcontractor and material/equipment quotes from company approved vendors
• Prepare a complete bid summary for review with project management team
• Prepare and submit detailed bid letters accurately and in a timely manner.
• Generate RFIs when appropriate prior to bidding
• Be able to work independently and with our project management teams
• Maintain constant contact and follow up with clients and vendors.
• Attends site visits/walkthroughs.
• Attends company provided continuing education and code review trainings, if applicable.
• Ability to multi-task and self-perform.

Professional Requirements:

• Minimum 4-6 years of electrical estimating experience required.
• Electrical License preferred.
• Technical and educational background with aptitude for reading, drawings, and other construction documents specific to project job needs.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication attributes a must.
• Solid planning, scheduling and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
• Experience in ConEst software and Bluebeam a plus.

We also maintain a service division providing superior electrical, fire alarm, data/networking, and security systems for our valued customers. Our generator division designs and installs turnkey generator installations for our valued national accounts across the nation including Puerto Rico and Hawaii. We also maintain generators in all states.
