Principal Geotechnical Engineer

As aGeotechnical engineer, you will be part of our Geotechnical group, embarking on an exciting career that takes you to new heights in the field of geotechnical engineering. You will play a crucial role in conquering the challenges posed by the earth's foundation, making a lasting impact on the world around us.

You will:

• Conduct groundbreaking subsurface investigations, exploring the secrets of the earth's layers.
• Apply geotechnical expertise to site civil and landfill design projects, including building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining walls, landslides, and pavements.
• Participate in thrilling construction materials testing services for commercial and landfill projects, ensuring quality and durability of concrete, foundations, masonry, and pavements.
• Coordinate and monitor subsurface drilling activities, extracting essential soil and rock samples for analysis.
• Prepare detailed boring logs to document findings accurately.
• Develop innovative laboratory testing programs to assess soil and rock properties.
• Analyze laboratory data and perform geotechnical analyses to understand material behaviors.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, providing valuable insights to clients in the commercial, retail, institutional, energy, and industrial sectors.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of geotechnical experts, contributing to innovative solutions and pushing the boundaries of engineering.

You bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of consulting Geotechnical Engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated and self-driven, with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
• Possession of an E.I.T. or P.E. certification is strongly preferred.
