Hair Stylist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled freelance hair stylist to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a substance abuse facility setting and a passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journeys.

Hair Stylist Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients on stylistic options for their hair.
• Provide residents with high-quality hair care services, including haircuts and styling.
• Adhere to all facility guidelines and protocols regarding hygiene, safety, and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to support residents' overall well-being.
• Maintain a clean and professional workplace.

Required License(s)/Certification(s):

• Valid cosmetology license

Education/Experience/Qualification:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a hair stylist, preferably in a substance abuse facility setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be comfortable with both men’s and women’s cuts.
• Sensitivity to the needs of individuals in recovery
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
