Position: Caf Manager


Location:
24 Old Black Meadow Rd, Chester, NY

Responsibilities:

As the Caf Manager at Frozen Ropes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our caf. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Menu Development and Management:
    • Create and maintain an appealing menu that caters to our diverse clientele.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all cafe patrons.
    • Train and supervise cafe staff to deliver friendly and efficient service.
    • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  3. Operations:
    • Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency.
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Manage budget, track expenses, and optimize cost-efficiency.
    • Implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
    • Prepare financial reports for management.
  5. Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and schedule cafe staff.
    • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues.
  6. Marketing and Promotion:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote cafe offerings.
    • Organize special events, promotions, and themed nights.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a cafe manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
