About the Role:

In the QA Tester role, you will be responsible for reviewing and implementing test cases and suites. You will collaborate with other QA team members, software developers, and product owners to determine project scope and requirements. Success in this role will be demonstrated by delivering high-quality work, identifying and rectifying errors, and enhancing usability throughout the software development and implementation process.


Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications;
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams;
  • Test current products and identify deficiencies;
  • Help troubleshoot issues;
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing;
  • Suggest solutions to identified product problems;
  • Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement;
  • Collect quality data;
  • Apply Automation Quality Procedures (if available);


Qualifications:


Mandatory:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manual software testing with a strong understanding of different testing approaches, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in testing Web applications and APIs, particularly RESTful services, ensuring seamless functionality and integration.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile methodologies and projects that integrate with automated testing ecosystems. Understanding of the basics of security testing.
  • Ability to create, manage, and execute test documentation, including test plans and test cases. 
  • High proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.


Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks and Software QA practices
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
