Position: Shipper

6AM-4:30PM Monday through Thursday.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.

Position Summary/Objective
The Shipper is responsible for carrying out warehouse activities relating to material handling and shipping products.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pack orders in accordance with instructions specified on customer order / internal documentation.
  • Process shipping orders by designation, mode, and service level of shipment specified on customer order.
  • Move packaged materials via pallet jack or forklift.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Carry out other assignments as directed.

Required Competencies

  • Some familiarity with a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Positive attitude – Demonstrates a sincere positive attitude towards getting things done. Responds to change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.
  • Attention to detail – Thoroughness in accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small. Monitors and checks work or information and plans and organizes time and resources efficiently.

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to stand for long periods of time with the ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds is required.
  • The ability to stoop, reach and bend is required.

Special Working Conditions / Travel Requirements

This job operates in a warehouse environment with little dust or grease. Little to no travel is expected for this position.
