Role and Responsibilities

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
  • Perform regular stock checks and assist in inventory reconciliation.
  • Prepare and pack materials for outgoing shipments according to order specifications.
  • Coordinate with logistics and project management teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks as needed and checking for quality assurance for all packages received.
  • Organizing, sorting and receiving packages and material.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, including shelving, aisles, and storage areas.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols for handling materials and operating equipment.
  • Dispose of waste and surplus materials in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks for proper working conditions.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist field crews with locating and retrieving materials from the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with project managers to fulfill urgent material requests from job sites.
  • Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and field teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Implementing all safety requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
  • Experience working in shipping and receiving.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Lift and climb ladders.
  • Able to drive box truck (not required).
