Who You Are:
You’re energetic and enjoy working outdoors. You understand that this space can be demanding, and you make sure you have the tools and resources to get the job done. You have at least one year’s experience in vegetation management and utility space.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform safety observations on utility vegetation management tree contractor.
- Utilize client-required operating system for data collection, reporting, and tracking.
- Attendance and participation in Management and Client required safety meetings
- Communicate daily with the client, contractors, and Atlas management
- Perform duties in a manner that will promote and maintain good public relations
- Assist in storm and other disaster-related assignments
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. - Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, the ability to multi-task and an attention to detail
- Must be able to work alone, outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
- Must have basic computer skills and a smart phone
- Valid Driver's License and ability to drive company provided vehicle required
- BS or AS degree in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.
- Bi-lingual speaking (English and Spanish) is a plus
Intermediate Level
- 3 years’ experience in industry or one year military experience
- 1 year in a safety or trainer role
- CPR / First Aid certification
Senior Level – must meet or exceed Intermediate Level qualifications and must also meet the following criteria:
- 5 years’ experience in industry or 5 years’ military experience with 3 years industry experience
- 1 year of work equivalent to safety observations
- OSHA 30
- CTSP certification
- EHAP
Expert Level - must meet or exceed Senior Level qualifications and must also meet the following criteria:
- 5 years’ in industry experience or 5 years’ military experience with 4 years in industry experience
- 3 years as a safety observer, foreman, or trainer
- ISA Certification
