Admin Facility Coordinator

In this role, the Facilities Support Coordinator will review incoming support requests from all Blue Origin sites via the Maximo work management system. The Facilities Support Coordinator will evaluate requests to ensure they are fully identified before work is scheduled. This role may also receive and manage customer questions or concerns. The role will collaborate with facility personnel and management and monitor requests routinely to meet due dates. This role will also communicate daily with the facilities team regarding the status of incoming requests. The role may also assist with inventory tracking.
Duties
- Extract support requests electronically, manually, over the phone, or through other channels.
- Assigning work to the relevant department (discipline) for completion.
- Assisting personnel/customers with questions, follow up, or instruction.
- Ensure related documentation is complete and accurate.
- Responsible for keeping documents organized.
- Update work orders as directed.
- Make process improvement recommendations.
- Communicates with supervisor, personnel, and vendors as it relates to the job.
Minimum Requirements
At least 18 years of age or older. Hold a High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalency. Hold and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. The ability to work with customers in a professional manner. Possess a solid background in customer service and relations. Excellent communication skills with problem-solving abilities. Able to pass a Drug Screen, and Background Check.
Job Safety Requirements
Must follow strict safety procedures and a strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines. Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, company policies and procedures, and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
Physical Requirements
Extensive use of computer, monitor, and keyboard. Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds; may be required to push and maneuver carts.
Skills Required
Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Maximo. Possess outstanding organization techniques and skills; and the capability to transform those skills into efficient processes. Effective interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills required. Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on time management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing. Ability to develop strong, positive relationships with personnel and contractors. Proven experience in customer service. Prior data entry experience.
