Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummary:Premier designer / manufacturer of customized industrial chilling systems for advanced technologies including electron optics, x-ray, MRI and medical device cooling seeks an experience Electrical Controls Engineer.Responsibilities:PLC Controllers (50%):
  1. Develop and install machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages
  2. Document the programs, flowcharts, and processes required to transition products from the engineering phase to production
  3. Test products for efficiency, safety and reliability
  4. Troubleshoot system errors
  5. Oversee the successful installation of PLC programs
  6. Maintain and upgrade programs when necessary
  7. Monitor and qualify new features and opportunities
Production Support / Improvement (50%):
  1. Develop and maintain tools to optimize deployments and support
  2. Provide engineering support to the manufacturing floor for testing and troubleshooting of new programs and systems
  3. Troubleshoot products during test when needed
  4. Investigate and implement automation opportunities for production and testing areas
Educational / Experience:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
  2. Should have at least 3 years’ experience programming PLCs
