Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated individual to manage the routine operations of our Assistive Technology division. This includes but is not limited to virtual reality, 3D printing, equipment exchange program, and assistive gaming. The AT Manager will drive results by being a proactive and motivated self-starter that engages well with his/her team and other professionals. This is a brand-new position that will require development of programs and strategic thinking.  Specifically, the Manager will be responsible for developing AIM’s adaptive gaming center which will offer team activities and pay-for-play experiences, featuring high-end gaming PCs, and consoles.

Essential Functions (Primary Duties):
  • Responsible for management of Assistive Technology Coordinator including ensuring their schedule meets the needs of the business.
  • Organize, plan and attend gaming events.
  • Develops AT program activities, as per program or organizational guidelines.
  • Creates educational and training materials supporting the AT division.
  • Creates and promotes a culture centered on the Independent Living philosophy, with the people we support.
  • Displays principles of good management and applies these in daily work performance.
  • Tracks data on outcomes, community participation, events, etc.,
  • Promotes a positive working relationship with all employees.
  • Maintaining and/or completing monthly reports, as per regulation and guidelines.
Role Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with computer and assistive technology.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining interconnected gaming stations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to self-direct.
  • Ability to work independently and maturity to manage a flexible work schedule.
  • Demonstrated experience with Esports.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain highly organized with acute attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Ability to effectively identify issues and develop, recommend, and implement a solution.
Education/Relevant Work Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in gaming.
  • Supervisory or coaching experience preferred.
