We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychoeducational Evaluator to join our team. As a Psychoeducational Evaluator, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations of individuals with learning, developmental, or behavioral difficulties, and providing recommendations to address issues related to their academic and social-emotional development.

The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the principles of psychoeducational assessment, and be able to administer and interpret standardized measures to evaluate cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning. Additionally, the candidate must be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and other professionals involved in the care of the individuals being evaluated.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations of individuals with learning, developmental, or behavioral difficulties.
  • Administer and interpret standardized measures of cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning.
  • Provide recommendations to address issues related to academic and social-emotional development.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to clients, families, educators, and other professionals involved in the care of the individuals being evaluated.
  • Evaluate and interpret data to identify patterns and trends related to individuals' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to evaluations and assessments.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices and standards in psychoeducational assessment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in psychology, education, or related field.
  • Certification or licensure as a New York State Licensed Psychologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
  • Knowledge of the principles and methods of psychoeducational assessment.
  • Familiarity with standardized measures of cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practices and respect for diversity.
  • Monday to Friday
