We're looking for passionate individuals to join our dynamic team as Election Petition Gatherers. This temporary role, part of the Kingston Strategy, offers a unique chance to contribute to the success of a client's campaign and play a crucial role in getting candidates on the ballot.

As a Petitioner, you'll be at the forefront of our project, collecting signatures to support our candidate. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to be a part of a meaningful movement leading up to the election. We're seeking enthusiastic individuals who are ready to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to exceed on-the-ground metrics.

  • Engage progressive communities on the turf.

  • Attend training and staff meetings.

  • Ensure community contact and arrive on time at the site.

Required Qualifications:

  • Literacy: Ability to read and write.

  • Reliable Transportation: Access to transportation to and from the site.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to walk for 8 hours a day.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Experience: Previous petition gathering experience is a plus.

  • Field Knowledge: Understanding of field targeting, metrics, and local demographics.

Compensation:

  • $22/hour
