Logistics Analyst

The Logistics Analyst tracks performance metrics, identifies trends, and generates insights to improve operations, reduce cost, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Compensation Data: Exempt salary based on experience.

Travel: Approximately 10%

Location: Burton, OH - Hybrid (in office as needed)

M-F, 8-5 with flex as hours may vary based on business need.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identifies information sources, creates, and maintains a database to preserve performance statistics, analyze outcomes, and quantify or qualify results.

2. Analyzes and interprets data related to logistics operations and recommends actions to increase efficiency.

3. Highlights cost-saving opportunities within the logistics chain.

4. Organizes and analyzes data for annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and data trend analysis.

5. Develops ad hoc or periodic reports that inform the organization of any current or potential for any future problems.

6. Supports business acceptance testing and system validation activities as requested in the transportation and warehousing areas.

7. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes.

8. Tracks and traces intercompany shipments into company warehouse(s).

9. Confirms products are received accurately and in a timely manner at all locations.

10. Audits and corrects outbound shipment discrepancies.

What you will need to succeed:

Education & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, finance, or business administration.

Competencies:

· Experience with Power BI or similar data analytics tools.

· Excellent Excel and general computer skills.

· Experience in transportation, warehouse, or inventory management.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
