Ability Group Instructor Salary: $15 - $16 per hour

Ability Group Instructor Responsibilities:

  • Lead program instruction for members and participants with disabilities
  • Safely supervise and lead participants through provided activities
  • Adapting program activities to suit each participant's needs
  • Positively engage and interact with participants while encouraging positive socialization between participants
  • Reinforce positive behaviors, teach proper sportsmanship and bring enthusiasm to every shift
  • Develop strong relationships with participants and their families through communication and actions
  • Provide feedback to participants and parents/guardians on individual performance

Ability Group Instructor Qualifications:

  • 16 years or older
  • 1-3 yrs. experience working with people with disabilities in a recreational or educational setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work with others
