Job Description:

Looking for skilled CNC Machinist for immediate hire in Evansville. Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture precision parts used in surface and underground mining machinery, and industrial markets.
  • Program, set up, and run parts using CNC mills and lathes.
  • Use precision measuring devices to ensure proper sizing.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and tooling.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma and/or Trade School.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability.
  • Strong mathematic skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • CNC machinist requires 3 years practical CNC experience, including programing of conversational and G code machines.
  • CNC machinist with 5+ years’ experience operating CNC Lathe and Mills preferred.
  • VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) experience is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret prints and drawings.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Overtime may be required based on customer demand.
