Do you enjoy making people happy? We are seeking an Operations Assistant Manager to join our team You will perform supportive and administrative functions in order to drive our mission: provide memorable experiences.

This is a full time (40 hour per week on average) position. Must be willing to work weekends and requires a flexible schedule. The right candidate should be able to work well under pressure and have a creative and flexible approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the three departments of business (events, bar & kitchen) during operating hours
  • Plan and schedule appointments and private/internal events
  • Greet and assist onsite guests, conduct event tours and final meetings
  • Answer inbound telephone calls
  • Coordinating the setup and breakdown of events
  • Develop and implement organized filing systems
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • Marketing and promoting events to attract attendees
  • Supervising on-site staff across all departments
  • Communicating with event attendees and addressing any issues that may arise
  • Evaluating the success of events and making improvements for future events.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize and balance tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient technical skills with POS, KDS and Google suite of applications
  • Experience in food & beverage or event planning preferred
