POSITION SUMMARY

Set up and/or Operate various inspection equipment including Touch Probe CMMs, Vision CMMs, Laser Scanners, Computed Tomography (CT) machines, and hand tools to reliably collect inspection data. This is a 2nd Shift position – Mon-Thurs 4pm to 2am. Initial training will take place during the first shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Operate Inspection Equipment and record or collect inspection data.
  • Enter inspection data into inspection documentation.
  • Setup Inspection Equipment
  • Completes and maintains all necessary documentation with a goal for 100% accuracy.
  • Performs intermediate checks of equipment to confirm calibration before use.
  • Works with others to have verification checks performed on failures.
  • Maintains clean work areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing which may include machining, injection molding, or mechanical assembly.
  • 1+ years of experience with precision mechanical inspection.
  • 1+ years of Calypso and/or PC-DMIS experience preferred.
  • ASQ CQI or CQT certification preferred.
  • Blueprint reading skillset preferred
  • Demonstrated outstanding character in the workplace.
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills required
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally and sit for long periods of time.

This is a 2nd Shift position. Days and hours worked are as follows:

Monday: 4pm - 2am
Tuesday: 4pm - 2am
Wednesday: 4pm - 2am
Thursday: 4pm - 2am
