Detail Drafter

Position Purpose:

Responsible for providing drafting and technical support as requested.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer approval drawings for fleet custom orders (SMOs)
• Create/update PMO & standard installation drawings
• Create installation drawings for pick ups
• Revise drawings for delays & order updates
• Acquire models, optimize & create CAD drawings for purchase parts
• Must have or acquire CSWA in SolidWorks

Position Requirements:

Successful candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent work experience with technical training in SolidWorks. Must be proficient with personal computers, Windows and Microsoft Office. Good written and oral communication skills required as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Physical/Mental Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of the Position:

Normal standing, bending, walking and lifting in an office environment. Must be able to sit and work at a CAD station for several hours at a time.
