Albemarle Heating & Air is currently hiring for a full-time HVAC Installer to perform new and replacement installations in the Charlottesville, VA area. This essential Installer position will work to remove, install, start up and troubleshoot new systems as well as install heating and cooling systems for our residential customers. This installation technician position earns a competitive pay of $18-$25/hour, depending on experience. We are local industry leaders in this essential trade and believe that hard work can also be fun.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN HVAC INSTALLER

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Mechanically inclined
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Self-motivated to complete tasks within time constraints
  • Own your own hand tools necessary to perform the job right
  • Completion of state apprenticeship program preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to work in extreme conditions (ie cold, hot, dirty environment, cramped, on ladders etc).
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
