The purpose of the Client Specialist position is to review current marketing campaigns for weaknesses, develop new marketing strategies, and establish and pursue quality leads. This position will work with Account Executives to connect clients with our billboard marketing solutions and provide exceptional customer service.

Major Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information
  • Maintain and increase marketing tools to boost inquiries and sales leads
  • Conduct market research
  • Create internal and external marketing materials
  • Cold calls over the phone and in-person
  • Maintain CRM database as required by Lind Media Company’s policies.
  • Explain the outdoor advertising business to customers utilizing general sales techniques
  • Effective time management and self-organization
  • Willingness to immerse yourself in the outdoor advertising industry with the intent of selling its benefits to businesses and customers
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of outdoor industry, sales techniques, and ability to learn industries you will work with
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Adobe Software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Current and Valid Driver’s License – must be insurable through company insurance policy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous sales and CRM experience is a plus
  • Previous marketing and design experience is a plus

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The primary work environment for this position is an office environment.
  • The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading, color distinction, acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision), sitting, standing, talking, turning, and walking.
