Job Description: We are seeking skilled and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide top-notch care to our senior clients in their homes. As a CNA with Preferred Care at Home of South Alabama, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring our clients' comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety.
- Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in the client’s condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping.
- Follow care plans and document services provided.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification in Alabama.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in home care or a similar setting is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Must pass a background check.
- Dementia Experience required.
