Home Repair/Exclusion Technician

Location: Woodinville, WA (Note: Training, meetings, material restocking, and other report-to-office situations take place here)

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Home Repair/Exclusion Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will embody our core values of family focus, passion, commitment, and integrity. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in residential construction and carpentry to address and solve our customers pest issues by sealing entry points to prevent rodent access. Key responsibilities include interpreting job orders and maps to identify repair locations and safely operating hand tools. A Typical Day as a Home Repair/Exclusion Technician

Morning Preparation:

  • Arrive at our Woodinville office to review your project outline for the day.
  • Gather necessary materials and prepare your company-provided work truck.

Travel and Project Execution:

  • Drive safely and responsibly to customer locations across King and Snohomish Counties to complete your assigned projects.
  • Communicate face-to-face with customers, using empathy and understanding to address their pest issues.

Project Work:

  • Use company-provided tools and materials safely and responsibly to perform exclusion repairs efficiently and to Eastside standards.
  • Ensure that your work area is kept clean and that you respect homeowners property.

Administrative Tasks:

  • File your notes and digital paperwork promptly and accurately with the office.

Key Requirements

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Willing to maneuver, secure, climb, and work from ladders.

- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

- Comfort working from heights and in confined spaces where pests may inhabit.

- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screen.

- Valid drivers license and an insurable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, E-Verify

- Availability to work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet deadlines.

Compensation

- Hourly rate: $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
