JOB SUMMARY

The Program Supervisor is a licensed LMFT or LCSW who provides clinical supervision, administrative management, and personnel direction for the services provided by the staff. The Program Supervisor provides direct services to clients including 24-hour crisis intervention, individual and group case consultation, and manages BA and MA level license eligible staff and student interns. Decisions relating to clinical issues at the program level are made in conjunction with the Program Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Program Manager with day-to-day operations.
  • Supervise Facilitators, Case Managers, and Counselors.
  • Oversee program outreach and recruitment.
  • Coordinate and manage all agency referrals and the referral process. Attends County meetings as designated and

appropriate to provide on-site facilitation of referrals.

  • Provide referrals to clients and/or family members including referrals to access, crisis line, and other system/community

partners. Is available for crisis consultation 24/7.

  • Support program by designing and evaluating outcome tools to evaluate program effectiveness. Provide required

documentation and reports.

  • Provide case consultation, supervision, and coaching to clinical staff, as needed.
  • Attend Eligibility and Enrollment meetings and other appropriate community, agency meetings and task forces.
  • Demonstrate commitment to professional growth by attending in-service trainings and development programs.
  • Oversee and facilitate trainings for staff. Manage training log to ensure timely facilitation of required CEUs and annual

trainings.

  • Comply with all MHS and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current licensure as Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, or similar and maintain good standing with Licensing Board.
  • Minimum of two years of experience post-licensure clinical experience
  • Minimum of three years of counseling experience as a licensed professional in a mental health field
  • Minimum of five years working with co-occurring mental health disorders and substance abuse
  • Doctoral or master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field, preferred
  • Knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation standards or transferable mental health and substance use services

  • Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and EHR software
  • Strong ability to problem solve and react appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with clients, family members,

community leaders, and staff members

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite and EHR software.
  • Ability to problem solve and react appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team.
