The Opportunity

Sambatek is currently seeking a graduate-level engineer (EIT) to join our Commercial Land Development team in Minnetonka. This individual will assist project managers on drafting and design work on various projects across multiple markets.

Work location: Hybrid-- in-office for initial training period, then in-office for collaboration days Tuesday-Thursday

The qualified candidate will:

  • Communicate and coordinate project work with all project team members
  • Assist in maintaining client relationships by providing exceptional services and quality through our deliverables
  • Maintain and organize project files in the network project folder
  • Possess strong design fundamentals and deliver complete documents at project milestones
  • Review local zoning codes, entitlement process requirements and submittals, as well as permitting requirements and submittals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2-4+ years related engineering work experience
  • Knowledge and experience within AutoCAD Civil 3D required
  • Strong self-motivation, communication skills (verbal and written), leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects with strong attention to detail

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment
  • Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds
