As a welder you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, joining, and or repairing equipment and various types of metal objects and structures using oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG and TIG welding techniques. Responsibilities for this welder job include:
?Operates drill presses, power saws, grinders, metal lathes and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools.
?Analyzes plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding assignments.
?Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines and/or tools as required per the P.M. charts.

Qualifications:
  • Standard English text and technical reading, writing, and speaking skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to use basic hand held measuring devices
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, (oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, and TIG), tools and equipment.
  • Skills in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures


Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm $20-$25 an hour
