Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who will be responsible for all accounting operations, ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant with accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, review of journal entries, reconciliation of account balances, and preparation of financial reports.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate on strategic financial projects, including ERP system upgrades and implementations.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment aligned with SOX compliance standards.
  • Establish and maintain a robust chart of accounts structure, ensuring accurate general ledger and financial statement reporting.
  • Prepare detailed journal entries and perform in-depth account analysis.
  • Support the tax department in gathering necessary information for tax return preparation.
  • Coordinate financial accounting activities with the Audit, Tax, and Treasury departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and provide insightful variance commentary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification or Master's degree in Accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
