Summary

  • Assist the project manager with daily administration of contract requirements from job
  • start-up through closeout
  • Demonstrate problem-solving ability
  • Responsible for document control for assigned projects
  • Effectively utilize construction-based software such as Primavera, Sage, Procore,
  • Bluebeam, etc. for daily project administration
  • Spend time in the field office to supporting production work on site
  • Position will be in the regional office and/or in the field
  • Reports to Project Managers


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree in Construction-related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with a Project Manager
  • Demonstrate commercial project experience of projects escalating in size
  • Proficient reading, writing and communication skills
  • Understanding of construction plans and specifications
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and construction-based software


Supplemental Qualifications

  • Experience in and proficiency with Excel, formulas, and spreadsheet building
  • Experience with CPM schedule methodology and schedule development
  • OSHA 10HR Certification


Basic Responsibilities & Duties

Assist project manager with:

  • client contract administration
  • submittal and shop drawing review
  • cost control and change management
  • schedule management
  • subcontractor/vendor management
  • project accounts payable and sub/vendor payables
  • client, architect/engineer, and subcontractor relations
  • supervision of safety and environmental policies and reporting
  • management of the quality control program in the field
  • closeout process
  • estimating team in project pursuits and bid day activities
  • lead small projects under project manager supervision
