Position Summary

As a Paralegal at Frontline Insurance, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Legal Officer and Legal Department. You will manage legal calendars, process correspondence, coordinate office supplies, assist with legal projects, and more. This role requires a high level of interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential situations with poise and diplomacy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Answer telephones, manage the Chief Legal Officer's calendar, and process expense reports.
  • Document Management: Maintain liability spreadsheets, process correspondence from Outside Counsel, and send requested documents to Outside Counsel.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain a legal calendar for all mediations, depositions, due dates of CRNS, and trials.
  • Office Management: Order office supplies for the Legal Department and process mediation and legal invoices in coordination with the Executive Program Manager.
  • Communication: Forward Outside Counsel correspondence to the Chief Legal Officer for review and manage internal communications with department heads.
  • Legal Research & Strategy: Conduct legal research projects as requested and participate in company legal strategy sessions.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required; 3-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred. P&C Insurance experience is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions.
