Dual Immersion Kindergarten Teacher

El Concilio California Academies is looking for talented and committed Dual Immersion Kindergarten Teachers to play a key role in the establishment of curriculum and culture as they develop a high-quality education program from the stages of vision to execution. Our Kindergarten Teachers will work closely with each school's leadership team to ensure our students learn, grow, and achieve transformative life outcomes. Each Kindergarten Teacher will be responsible for ensuring that our students have the opportunity to learn in an environment of joyful, excellent, and equitable teaching. Provide educational experiences that reflect the philosophy of Spanish language Dual Immersion expectations. Kindergarten Teachers are expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a K-6 learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic and socio-emotional potential. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal or direct manager.
Qualifications:
Appropriate Clear Multiple Subject Teaching credential, or equivalent
Appropriate Bilingual or BCLAD authorization, or equivalent
A Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
24 ECE units
Ability to:
Ability to teach grade level Common Core in Spanish and English
Ability to advocate for Dual Immersion programs
Ability to develop cross-cultural competencies
