As a Project Engineer, you will work with other engineering professionals on a variety of site development projects. Working from concept designs, you will learn all aspects of site development engineering, including layout, grading, drainage, utilities, storm water management, and erosion control. During the design process, you will work with other team members, regulatory agencies, and clients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to receive the training and gain the necessary experience to take your career to the next level.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing project budgets
  • Prepares plans, specifications, reports, permits, and designs for project.
  • Prepares design computations and quantity estimates.
  • Develops probable construction cost estimates for projects.
  • Mentoring and training staff engineers or other entry level employees.
  • Understanding permit requirements and processes.
  • Coordinates with design team including staff from multiple locations and/or disciplines
  • Coordinates with Clients and jurisdictions to obtain project approvals
  • Follows and enforces company policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years experience
  • PE License preferred
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Proficient with other engineering software required in area of expertise
