We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team at our shop in Avon, MA. Our Project Coordinators directly assists Project Managers using knowledge of civil engineering, drafting, highway signing, and mathematical principles.

The starting pay is $25.00 per hour and will increase based on experience.

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate and supervise work. Attend meetings with General Contractors and Owners.
  • Examine highway/roadway plans and structural shop drawings to gather general information required for sign fabrication and installation
  • Prepare legible and accurate shop drawings and calculation sheets by hand or by computer aided design (CAD) system.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles and federal, state and local standards to verify accuracy of drawings and calculations. Make any adjustments or changes necessary.
  • Submit drawings and calculations to contractors and agencies for approval.
  • Perform field survey elevations and layout.
  • Compile quantities of work performed from foreman’s daily reports to use for billing customers.
  • Contact customers to verify item quantities for billing and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Assist Senior Project Manager.

What We Need from You:
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, or equivalent is highly preferred
  • Zero to Three years of civil engineering or construction experience. ***Entry-Level Position***
  • Read and comprehend highway/roadway plans and specifications
  • Utilize CAD, Word and Excel.
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
