The Technical Marketing lead will be part of a client's web marketing team. Let's talk if you have led technical strategy, managed development teams, and have experience with cross-functional collaboration, prioritization, and decision-making on web projects. We are looking for a strong leader who is unafraid to roll up his sleeves and do the work.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, accessible, and user-friendly WordPress applications using modern block themes, ensuring both front-end and back-end functionalities meet high standards.
  • Communicate with internal product teams to ensure our website is built according to the latest best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and marketers to brainstorm ideas, provide technical insights, and contribute to project planning and execution. Look for overlap across web requests and projects, to best manage time and resources.
  • Translate project requirements and designs into technical specifications and implementation plans. Assign implementation to web developers, manage their prioritization and workflow, and review their output.
  • Leverage WordPress Gutenberg editor to create reusable blocks, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and ease of content management for the marketing team.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+Years of WordPress development experience. Specifically, you have experience building sites with WordPress blocks.
  • Excellent understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React), jQuery.
  • Experience integrating design systems into live web experiences.
  • Passionate about delivering superior experiences by building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
  • Experience developing responsive websites.
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Able to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
  • Able to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working templates.
  • Good understanding of PHP back-end development.
  • Experience leading teams of developers.
